Policies
Salon privacy
Effective date: August 23, 2026. This page covers how My Bella Spa Nail handles personal information in the salon: at the desk, in the waiting area, and at the table. Online booking, accounts, and this website are covered by the Privacy policy in the footer. Salon rules for late arrivals, gift cards, and conduct are on the Salon policy page.
IN THE SALON
When you visit, we may collect your name, phone, appointment notes, service history, technician preference, allergy or sensitivity notes you volunteer, and payment at the desk. Walk-in guests may be asked for the same basics as booked guests so we can serve you safely and keep the book accurate.
HEALTH AND SERVICE NOTES
Nail services are not medical care. If you tell us about allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions, or implants that could affect a product or service, we may write a short note so your technician can choose a safer approach. Share only what you are comfortable having on a salon record. We do not run a hospital chart. We may refuse or stop a service if we believe it is unsafe. Notes are for salon use, not for sale.
PHOTOS AND SOCIAL MEDIA
- Before-and-after or nail-art photos: we will ask before we photograph your hands or face for the salon’s social media, website, or training. You may say no; refusing a photo does not mean we will refuse a paid service that is otherwise available.
- Guest phones: other guests and staff may be in the background of photos you take. Please avoid capturing other clients’ faces without their okay.
- Reviews: photos you upload with an online review are covered by the Privacy policy and our review rules.
CAMERAS AND RECORDING
We do not operate hidden cameras in service or restroom areas. If we use a visible security camera at the entrance or desk, we will post a notice. Audio recording of private conversations is not part of our normal service. Staff may not secretly record you.
WAITING AREA AND OTHER GUESTS
A salon is a shared space. Voices carry. Do not discuss highly sensitive personal, medical, or financial details if you need them kept private; you may ask to step aside with your technician when possible. We cannot control what another guest overhears or photographs.
MINORS
A parent or legal guardian should remain with guests who are minors, approve services, and handle payment. We do not take a child into a private room without a guardian present except as needed for a restroom the guardian can accompany. Online accounts should be created by an adult.
STAFF ACCESS
Front-desk and technicians who serve you may see your booking, notes, and stored-value balance as needed to do their job. We expect staff to keep guest information in the salon, not to post it or take it home for unrelated use.
PAYMENTS AT THE DESK
Card terminals and receipts are handled like any retail desk. We do not write full card numbers on paper tickets. Paper intake forms, if used, are stored with reasonable care and shredded when no longer needed.
LOST ITEMS
Items left in the salon may be labeled with a name or phone if we can identify the owner. Unclaimed items are handled in a reasonable time. We are not a locked storage service.
YOUR CHOICES
You may ask us not to photograph you, to update a phone number on file, or to remove an optional marketing note. We may still keep booking and payment records we need for taxes, no-show history, or gift-card law. For website account deletion, use the Privacy policy contact path.
CHANGES
We may update this salon privacy notice when our in-store practices change. The date at the top will change for material updates. The copy posted on this website is the current version.
